1996年，Sonata Arctica 在世界的边缘 —-北芬兰的一个叫 Kemi 的小镇上成立,在金属乐圈子里乐队最早被认为做实验性音乐,与重金属相去甚远。1999年乐队在他们家乡的 Tico Tico录音棚里录制了一首新的 demo 名叫 “FullMoon”，从此乐队的历史翻开了新的一页。这首新的demo是乐队对于重金属音乐的首次尝试。从此乐队以迅疾优美的旋律和以键盘为主导的重金属配以清澈洪亮的嗓音而闻名于世。在命运的驱使以及 Tico-Tico 录音棚的 Ahti Kortelainen 帮助之下。“FullMoon”这首demo被芬兰优秀的金属品牌——Spinefarm相中。同时乐队也从 Tricky Means 改名为 Sonata Arctica。

芬兰，那个遥远的国度，我从未到达过，也很少听人提及过，但是音乐是没有国度与地域的，这首歌曲我想与这篇文章最为贴切，希望可以有更多的人听到它，平缓的旋律，朴实的唱腔，正如我们每个人所经历的人生。

有时，我们总是为了追逐别人的脚步，忽略了自己的从容，人生并不需要过多的华丽与激情，平淡中我们可以更好的审视自己，夜里如果累了，倦了，仍无法入睡之时，听一曲《Shy》，希望可以好梦，梦见阳光下的麦浪，带来的阵阵温暖。
